Arrival Guide

Elysian is self-catered accommodation and does not operate from a reception desk based on the premises. All information and correspondence will be provided via email and phone.

Check in time is 3:00PM.

The lock entry will be provided at 2:45PM via email or phone, on the day of check in.

On arrival, please read the Welcome Information (QR code) provided.

Location:
193 Great Ocean Road, Apollo Bay, VIC, 3233.

On entry to Apollo Bay from the Great Ocean Road- Elysian in located on the main road, directly across from the beach front. It is a short walk up from the service station.

Departure Guide

Check out time is 11:00AM.

Our Departure Guide will be provided on confirmation of your booking.

 
Breakfast & Meal Options

Self-catered breakfast and meal options can be arranged during your stay. If you wish to organise for any meals to be provided, please email [email protected] when completing your booking.

 
Booking Policy

A copy of our Rental Agreement including our complete Arrival and Departure Guide, House Maintenance Expectations and Booking Terms & Condition’s will be emailed to you shortly after making your reservation. ID and contact details of all guests will be required to confirm your booking.

Booking directly through www.elysianapollobay.com.au will ensure the best booking rate available as there are no additional third-party booking program fees. Booking directly additionally enables more flexibility with booking amendments.

Bookings can also be made through the following online platforms:

Please note: Fee variations may occur between these programs, depending on the listing site. This is due to the booking sites’ independent service charges.

 

Cancellation Policy

For Direct Bookings:
All cancellation requests must be made in writing via the email address attached to the booking confirmation.

Cancellations made prior to fourteen days of the booking will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within fourteen days of the arrival date, will be charged as per booking confirmation.

External Booking Platforms:
Reservations booked through a third-party accommodation website will need to be altered through the booking platform used to make the initial booking. We are unable to change or refund bookings made through these booking platforms.

We are unable to alter, change or offer refunds from bookings made through third-party accommodation web pages that are “non-refundable”. Non-refundable bookings cannot be modified or cancelled.

Booking Amendments

In the event of travel plans changing, guests will have the liberty to amend their booking dates (subject to the Cancellation Policy). Please note that by doing this, rates will fluctuate daily, and booking dates that are adjusted will absorb the most current rate available on the day of the amendment.

Reservations made through third-party accommodation websites will need to be altered through the booking platform where the initial booking was made.

 
Early Departures

No refund will be offered if you decide to depart earlier than the dates of your booking.

 

Room Occupancy

Guest rooms are available for a maximum of six adults. Bedroom 1 and 2 offer one queen bed in each room, and Bedroom 3 offers one king bed. These bed ensembles must not be divided, moved, or separated. We do not offer additional cots, highchairs, king singles, trundle, or rollaway beds.

Currency

All rates advertised on our website are displayed in Australian dollars.

 

Smoking Policy

Please be advised that Elysian is strictly a smoke-free property. Evidence of smoking within the property grounds will result in additional charges and possible eviction.

 
Pets Policy

Please be advised that Elysian has a no pets policy. Evidence of pets on the property will result in eviction, and additional charges if deemed necessary.

 

Lost and Found Policy

Personal belongings left will be stored for 7 days after your stay. We will notify you that we have found these items as soon as possible. All items requiring postage will be on charged to guests. If we do not hear back from you within 7 days, the items will be disposed of.

 

Room Damage, Theft, and Cleaning Policy

A comprehensive Condition Report is completed prior to and post each stay. Guests who depart their room in an unpardonable state that results in excessive cleaning time will incur additional cleaning charges. Furthermore, any damages made by guests will be on-charged. The damage recovery fee will include labor and materials. Any items taken from the room on departure will be on-charged at the cost of replacement. This shall be informed to you via email. Please Note; This includes refillable amenity containers in the bathroom, laundry and kitchen.

 

COVID Policy

Guest rooms are kept vacant for 24 hours between bookings. All linen and towels are changed and cleaned prior to new guests arriving. A dishwasher, washing machine and detergent are provided for guest use. If you become unwell prior to attending your booking, please email to discuss amending your booking dates. Security and Eviction Policy

For the safety of guests and to maintain a secure environment for all, please note that Elysian has security cameras on all external entry points to the property.

Elysian management reserves the right to enter the house in the best interest of the security and/or safety of its guests. We may evict a guest (without warning or refund) from their stay due to demonstration of, but not limited to the following: Intoxication, antisocial behaviour, physical or verbal abuse to staff and other guests, wilful damage to the house interior, exterior and its contents, excessive noise, ignoring the Terms and Conditions/Policies or requests of Elysian staff, smoking, pets on the property, or exceeding the maximum number of guests in the house at any time.

Guests are required to lock the house and outdoor area when not in attendance.

 

Events Policy

Please note that Elysian is accommodation-only. Gatherings are limited to guests paying for the accommodation. Strictly no parties or events are to be hosted within the property grounds. Failure to adhere to this policy may result in eviction and/or additional charges if deemed appropriate.

 

Photography Policy

Any photography of our space for commercial or marketing use for another brand or company will need prior approval from the Owners or General Manager. Please email [email protected]
